Student competing at the athletics carnival

On Friday 28 August we saw a very different athletics carnival, with Years 2-6 competing at the Tamworth Regional Athletics Centre and K-1 staying behind to have a fun day of athletics activities at school organised by Mrs Amber McDonald. What a special and fun time for our Infants students.

Years 2-6 travelled by bus to the new Tamworth athletics track, tucked away behind the sports dome. A sea of students streamed through the gates on the beautiful sunny day. Team banners There was a hive of activity all day from running, throwing and jumping.
