15 Feb 2018

On Monday, 12 February, the first Leadership Assembly was held to induct The Student Representative Council, the House Captains and Class Captains for 2018.
It was a momentous occasion, as 2018 is the year that Nemingha Public School is introducing the SRC as part of the new initiative ‘The Leader in Me'. All primary children will be involved in class meetings and SRC meetings to discuss any ideas, issues and concerns that the children may have. Parents and friends are welcome to attend the SRC meetings which will be held every fortnight. Times and dates will be advertised in Newslink.
The children who were inducted into their positions were selected and voted in by their peers. The SRC and House Captains will hold their positions for the year and the Class Captains will change every term.
